Eloping in Summit County

Summit County puts Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillon and Keystone within twenty minutes of each other, about ninety minutes from Denver International. It is the most convenient real high country elopement in Colorado, and it works in winter too, because the passes and gondolas run most of the year.

Sapphire Point is the one reservable public ceremony site on the Dillon Ranger District, so many couples book it first and build the day around it. Resort ceremony decks, lodges and private venues cover bigger guest lists. The vendors listed here work at 9,000 feet and up all year and can tell you how wind, thin air and snow change the plan.

Based in Summit County: 36 elopement photographers, 7 micro-wedding venues, 5 florists, 1 hair & makeup artist, 1 officiant and 4 elopement planners. Every listing links to the vendor's own site, and you can save any of them to your free planner to compare quotes.
