1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply to anyone who visits coloradoelopementguide.com, uses the planner, sends an inquiry or signs up for our emails. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Colorado Elopement Guide is run from Denver, Colorado, and you can reach us through the contact page.

2. What the site is

Colorado Elopement Guide is an independent directory and planning resource for couples eloping or having a micro wedding in Colorado. We list vendors, publish guides and permit information, and offer a free planner. We are not a wedding planner, agent or booking service. We are not a party to any agreement you make with a vendor, and we do not take payments from couples.

Listings are free for every business. Some vendors pay for Featured placement, which is always labeled on the site. Featured placement is advertising, not a recommendation or an endorsement. How listings are built is explained in our Editorial Policy.

3. Information on the site

We work hard to keep listings and guides accurate, but we cannot guarantee that any vendor is available, licensed, insured, priced as shown, or any good. Ratings and review counts come from Google and are refreshed weekly; we do not write or change them. Before you pay anyone, confirm details directly with the vendor and read their contract.

Permit, marriage license and land use information is written in good faith and links to the official source. Rules, fees and closures change, sometimes without notice. The official agency is always the final word. Nothing on the site is legal advice.

If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.

4. Planner accounts and saved vendors

The planner is free. You are responsible for the email address on your account and for keeping your sign in links and password private. Sign in links work once and expire after 30 minutes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that is used to abuse the site or other people.

5. Inquiries to vendors

When you use the Check Availability form, we send your inquiry only to the vendor you chose. Whatever happens after that, including quotes, contracts, deposits and the wedding itself, is between you and the vendor. We do not guarantee that a vendor will reply. Please only send real inquiries, with your own contact details.

6. Emails

If you ask for the planning kit we email it to you, followed by three short planning notes. Each has a one click unsubscribe link. Account and inquiry emails are sent as long as you have an account or an open request. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• copy listings or guides in bulk, or scrape the site with automated tools;
• pretend to be a business or a person you are not, or claim a listing you have no right to;
• send spam, fake inquiries or harassing messages through our forms;
• try to break, overload or get around the security of the site;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

We may block access or remove content that breaks these rules.

8. Our content

The guides, photos we commissioned or licensed, design and code on this site belong to Colorado Elopement Guide or to the people who licensed them to us. You are welcome to share links and to quote short passages with a link back. Photos on vendor listings belong to those vendors. Business names and trademarks belong to their owners.

9. Links to other sites

We link to vendor websites, government agencies and other resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or do.

10. No warranty and limits on liability

The site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, Colorado Elopement Guide is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for anything a vendor does or fails to do. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to one hundred US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to sort it out.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the effective date at the top, and for meaningful changes we email account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
