Breckenridge Elopement Photographers

Breckenridge sits at about 9,600 feet at the foot of the Tenmile Range, and the town itself is half the appeal for an elopement shoot: Victorian storefronts on Main Street, the Blue River running through the center and ski runs rising behind everything. Most elopement photographers working here split the day between a short session in town and a ceremony site higher up, such as Sapphire Point above Dillon Reservoir, Boreas Pass Road or the meadows toward Hoosier Pass. Sapphire Point is reserved on Recreation.gov in three hour blocks with a 30 person cap, so book that slot before you lock in a timeline.

Altitude shapes the plan more than people expect. Guests flying in from sea level tire quickly, sunrise sessions mean a cold start even in July, and Boreas Pass closes to cars in winter. In return you get snow from November into spring, gold aspens in mid September and a town full of places to eat afterward.
